Good, smart comedy is hard to come by in this day in age. Blazing Saddles is one of the rare movies that is funny non-stop from beginning to end. Full of smart racial jokes and innuendos, it goes to show why Mel Brooks is one of the all time comedy greats.
Back To The Future Trilogy

Probably one of the better and beloved trilogy of movies, the Back To The Future series is funny and entertaining. Beneath all of it is a movie that actually does a pretty good job of explaining time travel in a way that makes sense and isn't convoluted. Tough thing to do but it succeeds.

If there was ever a franchise that has stayed iconic over the years, its this one. A simple concept of 4 guys catching ghosts spawned 2 movies, 2 cartoon series, multiple video games, and a possible reboot. Oh and it also helps they have a kick ass theme song.
